In 2013 there was a huge flood in Boulder and Three Leaf Farm was virtually underwater. The damage was extensive. The first plants to regrow were the thistles, which I learned have the ability to repair and fix the land after a natural disaster. Now, the thistle for me is a symbol of strength, renewal, and reclamation of power.
