In some traditions, cottonwood leaves and bark are believed to ward off negative energy and protect against dark forces. Cottonwood symbolizes resilience and endurance, making it a favored choice for magical workings aimed at overcoming obstacles or navigating through challenging times.

Our cottonwood buds are wildcrafted from the fallen branches of the many cottonwood trees along our river, Coal Creek. in the early spring, the heavy Colorado winds blow the bud-heavy branches to the ground, and we reverently gather this gift from the cottonwoods with which we share our land.

At Three Leaf Farm we grow a wide range of herbs to be used for both medicine and magic. A freshly harvested and dried herb holds much more energy than a commercially purchased, chopped up plant.

Because spellwork and magical herbalism usually require freshly harvested and sacred handling of herbs, we offer many ingredients in small corked bottles.
Both cultivated and wildcrafted, almost all of our herbs are grown on the Three Leaf Farm Botanical Sanctuary in Colorado.
