40 – 50 drops essential oils (choice of lavender, tea tree, cedarwood, eucalyptus, lemon, peppermint, rosemary, sweet orange, ylang ylang.)

2. Steep for 30 minutes to 1 hr.
3. Strain, and reserve liquid
4. Cool completely, add essential oil
Use 4 Tbsp liquid and 2 Tbsp Borax per load.
Essential oils: create your own blend, and make careful notes so you can recreate it if you like it! I use 30 drops of lavender, 10 drops of tea tree, and 5 drops of ylang ylang.
You can create complimentary dryer sheets as well. Purchase some inexpensive hand towels, and keep a dropper bottle of your signature scent near the dryer. Drop 10 drops of the blend onto a towel and add it to your load in the dryer. You can continue to use the same towel as long as you like.
Remember: some people are sensitive to essential oils, so adjust the amount you use accordingly.
