Join us for a brand new offering in 2018! Saturday morning we will gather to practice 1 hour of yoga, followed by a short meditation, freshly brewed herbal tea, and a private tour of Three Leaf Farm.
The class will be a vinyasa yoga class open to all levels. We will focus on principles of alignment, while also cultivating strength and flexibility. Cues and adjustments will be given to assist beginner’s in their foundational postures, while challenges and options for more advanced practitioners will also be shared. We will work into deep twists and yummy balancing poses, ending with a restorative and guided savasana meditation.
The class will take place outdoors and emphasize developing a relationship with nature and the elements. After our yoga practice, we will share in soothing herbal tea freshly harvested from medicinal plants grown on the farm. We will then go on a private tour of the farm, visiting the barn, horses, goats, medicine trail, beehives, and coal creek. Discussion of the farm’s practices as well as identification of local plants and wildlife will occur during the tour. Lastly, you will take home some surprise handcrafted goodies from the farm!
Please bring a water bottle and yoga mat. We will provide blankets and bolsters. Mild, organic essential oils will be used in this class.
