Hosted by Certified Herbalist, Sara Stewart Martinelli, participants will first be led around the farm acreage on an herb walk, identifying both wild and cultivated medicinal herbs. After harvesting the fresh plants, participants will then go into the kitchen to learn how to properly dry herbs, or use them fresh in tinctures, salves and infusions. Each participant will leave with a jar of Magic Garden Salve, and a tincture of their choice. Class is limited to 8 students in order to ensure a hands-on experience.
$40 – Cost covers all materials, including jars, tincture alcohol, beeswax, oils, and essential oils.
Cancellation policy: Full refund if cancelled two weeks prior to workshop. Cancellation refunds within two weeks of the event will be subject to whether or not we can fill the vacant spot in the workshop.
