May 28 - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Hosted by Three Leaf Farm Herbalist, Sara Stewart Martinelli, participants will first be led around the farm acreage on an herb walk, identifying both wild and cultivated medicinal herbs. Participants will then go into the classroom for a discussion of a number of common medicinal herbs, and to learn how to properly dry herbs, or use them fresh in oils and salves. Each participant will leave with a jar of First Aid Ointment, and an infused oil of their choice. Class is limited to 8 students in order to ensure a hands-on experience.
– Cost covers all materials, including jars, beeswax, oils, and essential oils.
