Start in the classroom learning the techniques for sketching basic compositions that draw the viewer around the paper. With demos and individual guidance, you will be able to develop a subject(s) to accurately depict its form, placement and values from up-close observation in the field.
Limited to 10 students.
$5 material fee to be collected at class.

About Susan DiMarchi:
Susan was born in the Midwest, but Colorado has been her home for over 40 years. She resides in Denver, where she works as a freelance illustrator, artist and core instructor at the School of Botanical Art and Illustration at the Denver Botanic Gardens. She teaches all levels of students, from beginners to seasoned professionals.
In addition to art and illustration, Susan’s background includes garden design and work in hot glass. Her past and current work has been featured in galleries, publications and exhibits, as well as in private and corporate collections.
